Some Awards Mean More Than Others ....

Rebecca Johnson, the LPGA Pro at Capri Isles, teaches young boys and girls the game of golf.  Rebecca says watching her young students grow into confident adults and good golfers, is her biggest reward.  Although Rebecca has won many awards for performance and appreciation, her newest award brought tears to her eyes and a beaming smile.

Elizabeth Leone, a third grader at Pine View School and a second year student of Rebecca's, created the most outstanding award of Rebecca's career.  Elizabeth presented her award with the following message.

'Rebecca Johnson    A great athlete and a competitive player!  Rebecca has excelled at golf, played in many tournaments, and let the spectators be fascinated by her.  She's had over 20 biographies written about her.  She's had lots of tough obstacles but she always made it.  When Rebecca hits the ball, it sounds like there is a radio making the sound effect.  She is a Valuable Player!'

That seems to say it all ..... Thank You Elizabeth and Congratulations Rebecca!
